Olfactive Bulgaria is an evolving olfactory atlas of Bulgaria beyond the rose. Created by independent perfumer Silvia Yonkova under her brand Roseoverdose, the collection translates Bulgarian places, landscapes, personal memories, and cultural heritage into contemporary perfumes.
The current collection features five fragrances, each inspired by a different place:
8130 SOZOPOL evokes the fig trees of the old coastal town.
6153 OSETENOVO recalls countryside houses and their back yards in spring.
8240 SUNNY BEACH captures seaside memories of sand lilies.
6750 ARDINO explores Bulgaria’s tobacco heritage.
2260 SVOGE interprets the country’s chocolate-making history.
Each fragrance is named after a specific location, combining the place name with its postcode.
Combining original formulation, cultural storytelling, and Bulgarian-sourced raw materials, the collection grows by one or two new fragrances every year, adding new locations, scents, and stories to the atlas.
Olfactive Bulgaria turns specific local stories into distinctive, wearable creations with international potential. Its value is both commercial and cultural: a contemporary way to encounter Bulgaria, remember it, and share it with others.
